Everything that came after solo leveling seems to be subpar or trash. New season of bleach, one punch man, dragon ball super, black clover, jujutsu kaisen, that time I got reincarnated as a slime, I got a cheat skill in another universe, wistoria wand&sword. Overlord, the god of high school, re zero, let this grieving soul retire, mashle magic and muscle all need to return ASAP.

it's really a shame that Apotheosis, Battle Through the Heavens, Tales of Demons and Gods, etc don't have the animation style of Lord of the Mysteries. i despise the CGI and artstyle they use for these series, and they do it for the cultivation genre that i like.
animation has nothing to do with budget. Dragon Ball Super =- $160k per episode. One Punch Man season 1 = $70k per episode. the chief animator said that their budget was very average. i bet y'all thought it's budget is astronomical. people say "unlimited budget works" for Ufotable. Demon Slayer has $80k per episode. what matters is the animators.

Minute 4:49 – dude just made the most ridiculous exaggeration by saying "it took 1 month to create 1 second of animation" that means it took 60 months to make 1 minute & 120 yrs to make 1 episodes (since the average anime episode is 24 minutes) & u can multiply that by 12 (the average episodes per season). That means they began creating that anime around 500AD
Tougen Anki looks interesting, reminded me of Deadman Wonderland with the blood element

Thank you for the list! There are a lot of anime this summer, and I only have a limited amount of time, so I didn't know which ones to check out. I am definitely going to watch Lord of the Mysteries since I've gained a deeper appreciation for detective stuff recently. And the animation for Virgin Punk looked stunning, so I want to check that out too whenever it's available in the US.
New Saga is like another anime that came out a few years ago same premise and everything
