其实你解释故事呢，很多时候在别人看来更像是一些流行元素的集合，没读过的人能被吸引的有限。
我个人觉得，像是细致的刻画背景日常和行为的细节，以及精细的人物角色的描写带入，以及作者深厚的文字功底，非凡的想象力，这些至少能够站6成以上的原因。当然，如果是译本的话，译者的能力也是很大一部分原因。

The way you people glaze and hype LOTM is unreal, like seriously your putting alot of expectations that am sure it won't pay off at all. Yeah I know the world building is phenomenal but it relies too much on exposition for us to learn it. Like how they dive into the currency soli, pounds and pences. So the anime won't be able to fully capitalize on that. The power system although well detailed has a lot of moving part, they are going to focus on that in the beginning of the series which might put alot of people out, and even then, it doesn't make fights cool or interesting, am talking about season 1 here which will cover volume.
And now my main issue which is gonna be that the plot won't have a direction until later down the story which might push alot of people off. It doesn't have that strong of a hook to make the audience be like an gonna continue after episode 1.
But I might be wrong and it's gonna blow whatever I just said now
that video contains too many spoilers to be a good way to hype new people into it. Sure, it will catch interest of many people, but imo the best way to enjoy the series is to go into it blind and discover all those thing yourself little by little
