''the answer is in front of us'' it actually in the first two episodes, like actually actually the truth was in these episodes you just need to uderstab=nd them then the whole thing fall in place but no one will get it without spoilers or reading the novel, what i'm taling about is not even hidden in the coner of the screen
so couple of things toget things into prespective, th terot thing is anything but a coincedance it was planned and someone woke him up in klain's body, and the fool's card is not just ''the beginning of a journy'' it has another meaning, so basicly he will actually become a fool, this kind of a spoiler but not one at the same time, don't worry it wont ruin it, and plus there's someone who is ploting this, and another one who is the one ploting what the first one ploting it's basicly a chain, there's like four or five who think they are the mastermind but there's another mastermind above them, it's a proper mess, and that goes for from the third epoch so be ready for the mind blowing plot twists.
to be honest, like for real, this is less confusing then some fights in th linght novel, i mean each sequance give you plenty of powers, and make them stronger as much as you go up in sequances, imagine a fight between 6 people, each had a difrent path, plus the sealed artifacts and their negative side effects, bruh some times i read this shit two time to compreahand the words and other two time to get wtf is happening some other time my brain go numb and juat read it while thinking about other thing, but jokes aside, it is complax but i actualy enjoyed the novel, would read it again 100%.

Blame tencent for their 3 episode rule that caused pacing issues. If you're still confused then good because it's lord of the MYSTERIES and also skill issue. A lot of the confusion stems from the fact that people don't read the subtitles but just watch it for the animation, this is not a turn your brain off kind of story like Solo Leveling. Everything gets explained in due time.

The point of lotm is that Zhou gets transmigrated into a completely unknown world shrouded in darkness and MYSTERY. It's not a story where we are omniscient or get spoon fed knowledge. We, as the viewers, are in the perspective of Zhou, what he knows is what we know.

Okay, so its not the clown controlling the Nighthawks, but the sealed artifact 2-049(the little clown puppet). So the "spiritual being" that Klein made a deal with is actually the clown negotiating with Klein using his escape from 2-049 in exchange for Klein handing over the Antigonus notebook. As you can see, the clown was about the poke Klein with his cane, thinking Klein was still controlled by 2-049, but he wasn't and Klein yanked him by his cane.
2:36 — i love love love lotm, HOWEVER what you said here is the main reason why I feel that people are so confused. klein DOESN'T actually know that much, only getting memories from klein's body (which only really helped him blend into society; nothing about beyonder stuff beyond what he's discovered through the study of the antigonus family notebook), which even then aren't fully completed (as seen in ep 1, where he states that he has gaps in his memory.
the way they adapted the first 3 episodes makes it feel like you SHOULD know all of the information, when in reality, the mc himself is just learning this info, too, just as the audience is.
if that misunderstanding was cleared up in the adaptation, then I think that the expectations of the audience in regards to how klein approaches and sees stuff will make much more sense.

Pacing is fast but biggest problem is that people are dumb and can't read the subtitles.
Chinese is a dense language which means it can often be shorter than its English equivalent while conveying the same meaning.
That's why there is so much text to read.
Dub should fix this issue and CR also removed extra content.

The reason why Klein acts like he knows some things is because he got most of the original Klein's memories when fusing with his body.
The anime missed the inner monologue of Klein thinking to himself whether he wants to act as a victim like them or act like the owner of the place and get some info out of them, which he ends up choosing to do so.
Justice and the Hanged Man worship him because he's apparently the ruler of this realm and he pulled them in without their consent, they'd rather bow down for now than potentially getting killed or worse. That's also why Justice's first question is whether she can go back, and why they relax and start to talk to each other after Klein tells them they can go back whenever.
The first 3 episodes were indeed rushed due to a contract the studio signed with Tencent to give them significant funding in exchange of reaching the clown fight by ep 3.

It's not even hard to understand and I'm anime only. People seem to be actual dummies.
The big problem is they do not bring over the 6 minute or so mini episodes after each episode that explains things.
Bruh, it's transmigrated. Not telescope, telepathy, teligram or whatever.
The first ep is so overwhelming mostly because of two reasons:
1. Badly translated subtitles by Crunchyroll which has now been fixed
2. Lack of internal monologue explaining the characters' reasoning (the entire Gray Fog sequence, why Dunn put him in the nightmare, etc)
You've understood most of what's supposed to be understood and its completely ok to be confused about some things at the moment – no need to try too hard to understand; that's what exhausts people into giving up.
Agreed on one point though – first couple of eps are going to have a lot of rewatch value with the context after the mysteries have been solved in season finale.

I was so confused that I looked up a chart of the 22 Pathways and their corresponding Sequences. Then, hardcore fans told me I just spoiled the entire series for myself, so don't do what I did, everyone. But I don't care at the moment. It made me less confused. Let's see if I ruined the series for myself.
the producer complained about this in twitter 9:32 bc he was told he had to get to the clown fight in episode 3 but he said he thinks episodes 4, 5, 6, 7, (not8), 9… were produced really well
they made a chibi short about this 5:50 so he before getting isekaid was just a normal chinese worker in 2000s then one day he got fired ig and his phone fell down a sewer and everything is just going bad all he had was like 20 bucks cash now so he goes to a shady retailer and as a joke buys a scroll that tells that he can turn his life around or something like that then he takes the papers blah blah and does the ritual then he starts to fly up like we see in the start of the 1st episode
also he has some memories that klain had and the reason people worshipped him was because he should be a really really high sequence diviner to make a divine realm and the chibi shorts and those explanasion things the alchemy guy does are the only things that makes me able to keep up with this
it's a MYSTERY anime. Never expect it to hand over the info to you. In a way, the mystery aspect is similar to Link Click. Only problem with LoTM being that this one tries too hard to be MORE complex than it actually is

Please talk about takopi next. Lotm is fun, but I’m not exactly gonna say it’s a good adaptation, the Webnovel will forever be among my favorites though, the anime is gonna make hard to set up for later plot revelations, and the end of volume is gonna be tricky too.
