★Things I dislike about foreign guys & How to date Japanese girls?

  1. "Kimi ni todoke" is AMAZING. It gets a bit frustrating with how slow things are moving, but everything feels so rewarding when it happens and characters are just so awesome!
I won't be able to say which of them have slang or how much since I am still a beginner level, but here are my personal recommendations:

    1. Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san (Teasing master Takagi-san) – extremely cute, super wholesome and the pacing seems really good as well and I did not notice any unnatural forms of speech there. I guarantee you are going to roll off your sofa/chair because of how cute it is XD
    2. Akebi-chan no Sērāfuku (Akebi's Sailor Uniform) – very underrated and really good watch overall, also seems like they speak very naturally in it. The intro song is also really cute!
    3. Oregairu – very nice story, gets a bit heavy and complex at times, but is very wholesome!
    4. Go-Tōbun no Hanayome (The Quintessential Quintuplets) – It is pretty funny, cute and intriguing. If you haven't read the manga or watched the show + movie, then I wonder who would be your best girl and whom of the 5 sisters is the protagonist's bride? I say you should watch it to find out 😉
    5. Amagami SS – based on a dating sim game, it shows the protagonist in different romance routes, so once an arc ends, the story comes back to the beginning and shows what happens if he chooses someone else etc. It is cute, really funny and so wholesome especially with some of the routes (make sure to watch all OVAs and specials as well!)
    6. Tada-kun wa Koi o Shinai (Tada Never Falls in Love) – very wholesome story about a Japanese guy who ends up falling in love with a foreign girl, and the intro song is really awesome!
    7. Higehiro – I say ignore the controversy around it and actually just watch the show, it really is interesting and wholesome, but gets pretty sad at times though. Very good story overall and intro song by Dialogue+ never disappoints XD
    8. Kaguya-sama: Love is War! – Love is a big battlefield and the first one who confesses – loses! I think you should watch it to find out the rest and you will love it 🙂
    9. Tsuredure children – Comedy with short episodes, really cute and funny!
    10. Ganbare Douki-chan! – Another comedy made up of shorts, really funny as well!

I can write even more, but let's keep it at 10 for now, hope whoever decides to pick these up enjoys them! (PLZ NO SPOILERS!)

  2. Hot Take: Technically you can use any anime to learn Japanese. You just have to research what words that are used by the characters that aren't used in real life.

  3. Where can I watch Doraemon in Japanese for free 😅😅

  4. Thank you so much! I'm always in doubt if I should use subtitles or not, and in what language. I'm a N4 level 🙂 Thanks again!

  5. Super Milk Chan 🥛

  6. Can any one tell me please that in which website those anime are available in japanese language.I cant find in japanese

  7. Thanks for the suggestions! ♥️♥️♥️✌️

  8. You are so beautiful and have a cute voice, I'm a beginner in learning Japanese and I just found you and I'm literally so happy rn. Another amazing Japanese content creator that helps with learning Japanese and that have such a cool videos 🙂

  9. Very hard to find these on YouTube amongst the countless videos. Links would have been very helpful. Thanks.

  10. 2:23 MY CHILDHOOD ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭

  11. lol i like how to last part of the video is "uruse" (shut up)

  12. Thank you for the recommendations! I just watched Nichijou in English recently. I just started learning Japanese, when I get a bit further along I am going to rewatch it in Japanese with Japanese subtitles. Another from this list I will watch is Kimi ni Todoke. A few others I am going to watch (that I have already watched once but aren’t on this list ) are Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu and Komi-san. I am very excited to get to the appropriate level to watch these.

  13. your hair is so pretty i am amazed by it
and great list, never thought i could watch nichijou/doraemon and learn at the same time

  14. Awww don't say thatt you speak perfectly 😭😭

  15. atashinchi is also good! its about the daily life of a family 🙂

  16. i was learning japaneses on duo and youtube went viral on duo is bad and this popped out.
looks like i am in matrix.

  17. How about けいおんぶ

  18. Ok, the fact that Inuyasha was made by the same person behind Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 is probably the most surprising revelation I had this year so far.

  19. Now, this doesn't constitute advice, but we took N4 when we were on exchange. I lost the will to study our university's materials and in stead rented all of the original Dragon Ball dvds without subs.
Lots of random words came up on the test that I didn't get from class, and my score was pretty good for our group.
    However, please stay in school…

  20. Thanks for the list 🙂
Recently I've watched "Studio Apartment, Good Lighting, Angel Included" and I found it doable without subtitles (I mean you won't get 100% of what's being said but it was not really hard either)
It's a school life mixed with surnatural, it has casual japanese in it.

  21. There are many native English speakers that can’t pronounce “anthropomorphic” 😅

  22. Thank you. I will use this to look for anime. 😃

  23. Could you please look at the camera?
