  1. Never seen something that wasn’t even that bad also disturb me that much.

  2. In my opinion, it is precisely such an aggressive and grotesque interpretation of the real problems and shortcomings of humanity that, on the contrary, allows a person to fully understand the problem, because it is more frightening and impressive than a softened interpretation. Remember Black Mirror and some of its episodes.

  3. I’m Not Going To Bother Watching Shoujo Tsubaki Because It’s Not My Cup Of Tea Mostly Because The Dogs Getting Killed (Which Makes Me Very Uncomfortable) I Rather Watch Rozen Maiden Because It’s Literally The Anime That I Watch (Mostly Because I Love Victorian Porcelain Dolls 🥰)

  4. 3:16 And I thought the entirety of End of Evangelion was the most traumatizing thing I've ever seen in my whole life.

  5. This anime is grotesque and abstract. Confusing at times, and insanely unhinged most of the time. It’s a pretty hard watch.

  6. I've ACTUALLY watched this anime and it was shocking, but I liked it! It didn't shock me at all, I was willing myself to keep watching!

  7. The movie has a decent story, it’s art. It’s entirely not real too so it’s not that hard to watch. Might watch it again. I saw the manga on shelves in Japan too.

I like things that make you think.

  8. It is banned everywhere in the world

  9. Aki at school someone was wearing your merch and I almost screamed

  10. This anime makes you feel like you shouldn’t be watching it because of how fucking inappropriate it was. The scenes make you feel uncomfortable and perverted. Story overall was sad but the production was memorable and unique. Honestly loved this anime but it is not for the WEAK.

  11. It seems like nobody in comment section realize that the fact that anime is kinda relate to victims, especially the author was suffering from his past if I remember correctly

  12. Ive heard that the dude who made this anime did it to show people that japan isnt all anime and kawaii, and is actually the total opposite of this stereotype in which we glorify japan to forget the atrocities happening there. I personally didnt exactly felt triggered by it, but i actually felt weird after watching it, like empty, like you said.

  13. I saw this a few years ago, and it’s genuinely one of the most disturbing things I have ever watched in my life. Please don’t watch this movie

  14. Ive watched this before and I stopped at the part where she stepped on the dog..I felt sick and almost vomited

  15. It's not banned. You people are dumb af if you believe this shyt 😆🤣

  16. This movie deserves a much nicer filtered lighter much positive remake.change the title the name of the characters.suitable to the moviegoers.

  17. WERE CAN I FIND THIS?????? Because I want 2 be traumatized

  18. The is one of the few movies to really horrify me.

What horrifies me most of all is the fact that these people are litteral monsters in a position to do anything they want to the little girl and they don't care how far they go in emotionally destroying her and delight in causing her misery. They make it abundantly clear to her she does not matter through their actions, and any bit of hope she finds that can't destroy them outright they get feelings of superioroty in obliterating so she'll feel as stuck as they do in this hellish, endless nightm. Nevermind that they've all reasons to be depressed, have their own pains and traumas, and might be trying to hold on themselves… no one who they can influct damage upon will escape unscathed. It's only when she starts bring enamored with someone with the power to kill anyone that tries to hurt her she starts to feel safe and like she matters, but he's possessive and is possibly only interested in her because, like him, she's a tiny person and he can genuinely mystify her… It's sll positivrly conotated narcissism. So of course, being in his late 30s t nearly 50s, rather than being kind to an innocent child who just wants to know she's cared sbout, feel safe, and seen as a human being; instead of teachingbher to be self-reliant snd encouraging her to develop her own identity he grooms her. And in the end when she leaves the awful creatures behind there's tears in all eyes, suggesting rven if misery is all we know in the end we'll be sad yo see it go. Then he's randomly killed and she doesn't get the closure of knowing it, so she ends up thinking she's been absndoned.

This really… Is a picture of how terrible snd indifferent the world can be. We like to think of childhood as a time of innocence and wonder, but in reality it's a time of extreme vulnerability. It's our job as adults to keep children safe from these dangers, but the wrong environment of indifference and malice is beyond toxic. I praise the the vision of this film because it shows how arbitrary and brutal the world can be, and shows us why need laws to protect each other (especially children) as a society.

  19. It's family-friendly for me, I'll show him to my sons when I have some

  20. The ending is literally the saddest thing I’ve ever seen. I feel so so terrible for Midori..

  21. I haven’t even watched it yet and I feel scared and depressed for the main character.

  22. The pain in aki's eyes when she heard midori crying…

  23. That final cry always sent chills down my spine. To find that she was completely broken by that point… it almost felt like it would've been better if she completely gets amnesia.

  24. Please tell me the puppies are ok
