1:38:22 this is exactly what i was saying when ishura released, everyone was complaining about it not having a single protagonist and how its so confusing
1:37:20 this is because sci fi is more creative than fantasy there are still many good sci fi shows released but nowdays people want boring rom coms and fantasy garbage, you need to bring back sci fi for that creative world building
Am i the one who enjoy very much Longlegs in the cinema??
To be hero X will be Nostalgic
Saying donghua ain't that hard guysss! Link Click is incredible I hope they continue watching it, and same with TBHX which is insane so far. And it's been also annoying how many people bashed mandarin and picked jp dub. I know jp has insane voice acting but cmon. Maybe I'm just an enthusiast of og dubs.
Edit: I dread the 'aura farming' shift since it's so not for me. Watching SL hype made me literally feel like SAO days when I just stared at it and din't get it
You guys need to watch heaven officials blessing
Link Clink is definitely my favorite Chinese animation. I love everything about it. I guess you don't know that its Chinese name is 时光代理人,which literally means the agents of time. The names of the two main characters are 程小时 and 陆光. When you combine the last word of their names, you get "时光", which refers to the concept of time.
I need to catch up to the latest intermediate arc
36:21 Aaaa, Mudan you seeing this shi…
Man… As a danmei fan the entire first 30m of this episode hurts my soul 🤣🤣 "are they even allowed to show gay content in shows" the answer is no 🥹 but my God do they have beautiful gay stories. The Chinese are the goats of BL. Japanese and Thai BL can't even hold a flame to danmei.
you have a shopify ad in this episode… what are we doing ? xD
the song choices for the dmc anime are actually the most tone-deaf thing I've ever seen tbh
China now is truly NO.1 😔
I enjoyed ’Longlegs’, a solid 7 or even low 8 . But I watched it with 0 expectations, maybe that played a factor… Or maybe the boys are just dumb b1tches 🤣. In all seriousness, I do get why is a divisive movie.
For an explanation of 'why Chinese gacha game borrow on Japanese soft power', watch Why Do So Many Gacha Games Pretend to Be Japanese? || The East Asian War for Soft Power by Moonchannel. A very well made, edited and researched video analysis by Moonie, as usual.
Why tower of God not got popular is because it's second season adaptation which is as shit as tbte, even though it is a Direct competition of one piece
The reason chinese and american "anime" is starting to be better than japanese anime is because the latter is economically in decline and the industry is filled with incel otakus that, like miyazaki has said, do not have experience interacting with actual people or the outdoors and hence have too limited a perspective to be creating great art. Don't get me wrong, even after the economic boom of the 80s died, Japan has still made a lot of banger anime, but the majority is of shoddy quality and you won't ever see stuff like that pass the quality check in American, Korean or Chinese productions.
Sad thing is Link Click has way better Subtitles if you pirate it.
Any Castlevania Talk automatically gets a like.
43:00 This is some dark timeline shit.
japanese influence is spreading everywhere from china, korea to france while the country is dying
Ive loved so many chinese animes , its so goods. Animation takes some getting used to
21:17 aaaaaaaye hit em with the NEK MINNIT 🙏🏾🙏🏾😂
Also with Longlegs, the best thing about it was the marketing.
To Be Hero X is goated
Omg cultivation stories are so good most are shit but there are gems. if you can open your mind to 3d then doupo cangqiong(battle through the heaven), record of a mortal's journey to immortality, xing chen bian(Stellar Transformation), and douluo dalu(soul land) are a must watch
Rewatched (2nd) 2 weeks after upload…
YOU GUYS NEED TO WATCH TO BE HERO X. ITS AMAZING
How conner described long legs at the start is the same way i described dune and somehow they think it’s a good movie because it’s not
shrug I like Longlegs.
It's pretty, it's weird and I like Cage as a washed up rockstar who made a deal with the devil.
It was a nice hommage to those 70's demonic possession movies.
1:25:43 Finland has a prominent Horse culture and has regular government regulated horse betting 🥰🇫🇮
This is my last resort
Connor looks like he just woke up in this episode
I am so happy that they watched and mentioned link click. I love that anime so much that it deserves more recognition because not a lot anime fans never heard of link click because it's a chinese anime
"Chinese anime" sounds like cultural appropriation.. but I guess as long as it's not the Americans doing it it's fine..
