Japanese Listening Practice With A Story #1 | Family [Beginner Level 1]



In this lesson, you’ll learn how to say members of family in Japanese! In Japanese, the way to address your own family members and someone else’s family members are different. You’ll learn the both ways as well how Japanese speakers call their family members when they speak to them!
e.g. Aniki (used when a younger brother calls his elder brother)

There are two main parts in this video:

2) Listening the story with subtitles and explanations!

  13. thnka you for this effort. Yet, including kanji for begginers who are introduced to the basic converstion, seems not conducive to learning. Why not use hiragana only? Nobody at the level this video targets has learnt any kanji.

  24. I listen to this everyday with the few words I know I build context clues of what they’re speaking about before applying subtitles ! It gets you a small idea of what they’re talking about without having to rely on the answer right away!
