From stores filled with every character imaginable to hidden gems and honorable mentions, we’re about to explore the best anime store locations in the country.

First up on our list is Pop Mart, located in the vibrant Myeong-dong district at Lotte Young Plaza. Prepare to be amazed as we delve into a world of Disney, Pixar, video game characters, and, of course, a vast array of notable anime figures from popular shows like My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer, One Piece, and Chainsaw Man.

Next, we head to Figure Presso, a hidden gem tucked away in the streets of Hongdae. This store might not even be on Google Maps due to its recent construction, but I’ve got the inside scoop.

Hoe Market, located on the same street as Figure Presso, surprises with a collection of popular anime products shipped directly from Japan. From “Boku no Hero” to “Jujutsu Kaisen” and even “Hell’s Paradise,” this small but impressive shop had me captivated.

Myeong-Dong Night Market in the Chungmuro area. Here, you’ll find an abundance of high-quality anime figures, although some might have suffered box damage.

The holy grail of anime locations in Korea—Animate. Situated on the 5th floor of the AK & Mall Shopping Centre in Hongdae, Animate offers not only an extensive collection of anime-related merchandise and figures but also an impressive selection of manga, manhwas, and anime-related comics.
