The RedMagic 9 Pro is currently the #1 Android smartphone on the AnTuTu Benchmark’s rankings, and its maker has lost no time in pointing that fact out. The OEM touts its new gaming flagship as having “The Chill that Never Quits” thanks to its active cooling system. The 9 Pro has now also been released through more channels online.

RedMagic has “claimed the throne” in terms of the latest AnTuTu charts with a new, 2 million-plus score for its new flagship smartphone the 9 Pro.

It has beaten other new Android devices like the Vivo X100 and the iQOO 12 series with a total score of 2,188,631 – which, while impressive, is reduced compared to another pre-launch AnTuTu leak linked to the Chinese-market exclusive 9 Pro+.

Nevertheless, the global 9 Pro is now painted as a class-leading smartphone, due in no small part to its series’ signature active fan-based cooling – according to RedMagic, at least. Then again, it might lose its crown to the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 8 series.

Meanwhile, the smartphone has become available on Amazon alongside its 7 and 7S Pro predecessors, starting at $749 for an opaque black unit with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

There are also transparent options with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage for $899 – then again, each price is currently $100 lower on RedMagic’s own site.
