  1. Good on Japan for being aware of how Anime became popular. The Kadokawa statement concerns me tho

  2. CGI has made anime look not like anime anyway 🤷

  3. Not Just Japan Wants to Keep Anime Japanese, me too!

  4. Totally!! Keep it Japanese… 100%… keep the Western rubbish away from Japanese Anime.

  5. i hope your surgery went well! ill keep you in my Prayers to Jesus Christ.

  6. Avatar and Boondocks have something to say to that.

  7. isn't any anime made out of japan by definition not anime? it's like making a hollywood-esque movie that's not backed by hollywood at all, it looks like a hollywood movie but it isn't. but anyways i don't agree with gatekeeping a whole genre to one country.

  8. Honestly that's good for Japan, and pretty based actually.

  9. Yeah they need to be able to keep what makes Anime good, while balancing budget, quality, story and other factors that matter.. and to be fair just thinking about it it sounds tricky, I hope they do a good job and keep on making great and varied fresh Anime and don't start becoming stale like Disney.. I mean all those Live action remakes Disney is making that are flopping are a clear example.

  10. even if they try to make safe anime, the market will correct itself. As long as people just don't watch these anime, companies will realize to stick with traditional edgy anime. The people have the power, companies may want to turn anime to into disney slop but people will watch what they like, they can't control that. If you feel like a certain anime is bad for the anime industry, don't watch it, if you feel like a streaming company is bad for the industry don't use their services.

  11. Many Anime appreciators like myself, are tired of our Fellow Western Tourists.

Whom had no interest in Anime til it became popular.

I'm 38, I grew up on watching Dragonball and Sailormoon on YTV as a kid, where we had to wait for dubbed episodes.

Not once would I have ever felt like dictating Japanese Anime, if I didn't like something, I just don't watch it, not once feeling any urge to wag my finger at Japan.

    I don't want anime being disney-fied.

  12. western animated movies are made only for children with very few exceptions, japanese anime is made for everyone, young and old, so their stories are much deeper and does not shy away from any points that would terrify certain payment processors like paypal, visa or mastercard

  13. 100% Not everything needs to be for everyone. Keep what you do and keep your culture in it. If you don't like it, there are other stuff to do.

  14. I hope this philosophy doesn’t hinder my plans. I was looking at buying a studio and a handful of anime IP’s.

  15. Keep leftists away from Japan if you want it to stay woke free otherwise it will end up like the west woke DEI dung that no one wants anything to do with.

  16. Glad I got rid of Disney Plus and Hulu. I love and grew up on anime

  17. Once Disney got Anime it will be more shit

  18. Actually i agree cause some dubs are…. Straight up awful

  19. Glad to hear they speaking the truth behind why we like anime. If they made Disney like animes, i would probably stop watching 😢😅

  20. what ? surgery ? which? good luck!

  21. The problem with US content is its all the same. They try to make everything for everybody. And its all woke garbage.

  22. Lest we forget, Toei is the same studio that didn't care what happened to any of its IP's in the US so long as they got on TV.

  23. This… 100%

Let's just not talk about the predictability of Isekai stories latey, though…

  24. i watch anime bc it goes all the way usa wont go there bc its afraid to, its something different

  25. I can't help but find it totally ironic that they don't want to be like Disney, considering the very nature of Nintendo and how hard they defend it. Really kind of comes off as the pot not wanting to be the kettle..

  26. Good, we don't need abominable influence

  27. If you want to keep anime japanese you have to stop consuming it legally. Sail the seas in order to make anime great again!

  28. 4:25 Names 4 of the worst fanservice trash anime ever made, but the point works.

  29. Hollywood is dying and the east is starting to dominate the world of entertainment all over the world

  30. Thats why any live action of anime that hollywood will try to make in the future should be done with the japanese creators retaining total creative control otherwise dont sell them the rights no matter how much money they throw at them.

  31. Yes, yes, yes, and yes. That's why we love anime. Japan's anime should stay Japanese.

  32. The irony that manga tittles are top sellers in the US while comics are bottom barrel, even more ironic is that tittles like My hero academia are inspired by comics.

  33. So does this mean they don't appreciate dubs?

  34. I think they should do this and remove all their sh** from American streaming services, Crunchyroll, Hulu, Disney and create their own streaming app.

So none of their stuff can be corrupted by the western folks in power doing terrible tings.

  35. Thankfully we still have people with courage and integrity.
    Thank you Japan.

  36. Americans ruined their own movies and shows and they now want to ruin anime

  37. The big problem with Kadokawa investing in big productions is that they will slowly make less and less adaptations of mangas and light novels to be able to sustain the big shows. Think about the fact that back in 2020 some were complaining that there are too many shows being made and that the source material has been kind of going down in quality, but now Kadokawa takes a straight 180 and we will probably not be able to see the adaptations of future shows we might want to see adapted. It is a very bad precedent and I hope they have a change of mind…

  38. Yes keep anime Japanese
Don’t let it become woke dei trash like Disney

Wyrzucicie Polaków, którzy piszą scenariusze do Edgerunners?

  40. They got their own fair share of Epstein's, but hey ho

  41. IMO even though anime is very different culturally from western storytelling. It still has a ton of tropes and cliches. Whether that’s good or bad is up to the fans. At times it’s a bit cringe for me but I also enjoy anime storytelling more than western animation storytelling.

  42. Feel like is mix of good storytelling and not being afraid of doing something controversial, like Western entertainment become so sanitized so think people have over years increasingly started to turn eyes more East. I know personally watch more Anime and just general Korean, Japanese or Chinese entertainment instead of Western. Still watch Western made stuff every occasional time when they put something out worth watching but it feels longer and longer between.

  43. Keep anime japanese but was toei animation not stealing from their own fans with dragon ball super?😂😂😂😂 a failed series by the way.
