Its so hard to get past his rationale vs reality. The "why wont people leave me alone?" Line is absolutely bonkers. You stole a secret govt weapon, shot down a helicopter killing its 2 occupants and probably people on the ground, go through the city destroying it…..

The animation is amazing, then the story is exactly what I remember from others of the same era. 😂 Bubblegum Crisis comes to mind. The story was soo corny! Amazing visuals but oof the dialog.😮😅

This movie is great! The detail in the mechanical equipment, vehicles, and weapons is superb, the animation is beautiful and smooth, and the soundtrack is banging! Although the story feels lackluster in some moments, it still comes to a happy ending and Koji gets to meet Shiori before she leaves.
